One of a kind

A YaYu who arrived early, the way mornings arrive — quietly, and with something to offer.

A small pear sits on their head, gently. The colors came with them too: soft yellow, pale blue, the brown of warm earth — resting on the surface like watercolor that hasn't quite dried. They wear it the way a morning wears its sky — without thinking about it.

We all carry something. A thought, a memory, a quiet weight we never quite put down. Sometimes a pear. And I think that’s allowed — to be soft and uneven, to arrive as we are.
